During the reign of the so called indie wave, I was involved in a lot of roles not only producing but also DP-ing and sometimes even as the audio boom guy. This is mainly where I get to hone my craft working in DIY, lo-fi to no-budget productions, which today it’s being called resource-based filmmaking. So working in a small team is nothing new to me. It’s after working in bigger budget commercial projects that I always asked, can I work back in a indie production like the earlier days, you know without my coffees and privileges on a full scale set. I have never forgot the past, because it allows me to go back into no-budget projects with no hassle, even without the director chair, I still make films. I just need a camera and a few good men, and women.
